SOLO Lane Hardware: Scoring Hardware

The scoring hardware for the Solo system can be broken into five basic items, that combine to be one of the simplest systems available on the market today. Buy your own monitors and optional Computer equipment and you are ready to go.

Solo Hardware Unit
This is the main brains of the system, and together with the Bowler’s Keypad, represent the only electronics for an entire pair of lanes! The Solo unit is of such rugged, advanced design, that it attaches directly to your capping at the correct distance to the pins. Plug in all the cables, follow the step by step configuration wizard, and you can start bowling.

Bowler’s Keypads

The Solo system uses a single keypad for both lanes, and is of the same tough construction as that used with Matrix. It does not need any external power and there is only one cable that runs to the Solo unit attached to the capping.

Standard Cables Package
All the cables that are needed to operate the Solo unit are included as standard. All cables come pre-terminated with the correct plugs ready to plug and play. Cables include two S-Video cables, a Power cable and the Keypad cable.

Pinspotter Connection Cables (Optional)
Because there are so many different types of bowling machines, all you need to do to connect your machines to Solo is tell us which type of Pinspotter you have. We will then send the correct cable ready for your to connect from the Solo unit to your machines. These cables are optional for basic scoring functionality, but are used for Start, Cycle and advanced commands such as Short Cycle, Quick No Tap & 7 – 10 Pick Off (If your pinspotter supports these commands).

CRT, LCD, Plasma or Projector TV units

You can purchase any display that supports NTSC S-Video input, so you can spend and much or as little as you would like. Mount them from the ceiling using a number of commercially available mounting systems and you are ready to go.
